Life is very short. What we have to do must be done in the now.
Audre’s words speak to me on a personal and societal level. Majority of the global society’s is revolting against police brutality and the numerous injustices against Blacks, while still being in the midst of a pandemic. We don’t have time to put actions on the back burner because folks are fed up and it is time for change. The key is to figure out which actions are best suited for you — because no action is the worst action.
Personally, the words just reinforce my desire to pursue some future endeavors. I’m known for thinking of an idea, putting it on the back burner, and then watch someone launch it and thrive Hmmmm NO MORE. Quarantine time has allowed for reflection and reveal some big ideas that are beneficial. So I’m focused on doing the need tasks to make the ideas blossom into reality. I will reveal them in due time for I will definitely need guidance and assistance from folks.
