Composting and Gardening, Food Waste, Low-waste Living

Let’s Discuss Vermicomposting

Last week I started a new Food Waste Fridays series on the alternatives when someone’s food scrap pick-up is cancelled.  (Sparked because of NYC government suspending our food scrap program until June 2021).

Today’s Instagram post provides insight into one indoor option – Vermicomposting (aka worm composting).  I personally can’t pursue this option for Big (my oldest) isn’t a fan of worms.  FYI:  I’ve started a new page, on my blog, that lists resources on composting as I come upon them. Naturally, as I learn of beneficial information I will share it with you.

Do you vermicompost or have an interest in it?  If so leave your questions and/or guidance on it in my comments.
