Hard to believe but me and the girls have been at our temporary residence for about a month (4 weeks as of yesterday which 2 weeks was in isolation). We recognize our privilege on being able to come to my home-state and stay during this tough time – and trust me we don’t take it for granted. In addition to having immediate access to our family support, we are able to help our loved ones unable to go places.
Just like the plant (post picture) I brought down with us – we have semi-adjusted to our new temporary form of living/working/learning. As a single mother, the most important thing is that we are safe and healthy on all levels. (Note- which I know wouldn’t of happened if we hadn’t come down here). Some folks have asked about maintaining our low-waste habits – which I am going to discuss in upcoming posts/stories. 💜
